Swedish court finds Shalwati and Azizul guilty

KUALA LUMPUR, March 28:
Shalwati Nurshal and Azizul Raheem Awalluddin was found guilty by the Solna District Court in Sweden for child abuse and sentenced to prison.
According to The Star, the couple will also have to pay their children damages.
Shalwati, a teacher, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for gross violation of their daughter, Aishah, 15, and eldest son, Ammar’s (13) integrity as well as for assault of her younger sons.
Meanwhile, Azizul, a Tourism Malaysia director in Sweden was sentenced to 10 months in prison for gross violation of Ammar’s integrity and the assault of Aishah and his other son, Adam, 12.
